Has cruised in Caribbean, Central America, and Europe. Long term active adventurer, traveler, motorcycle enthusiast. Excellent under pressure, strong helmsman. Has high energy levels and displays excellent teamwork. Physician, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with 27 years of experience. Has served as Doctor in outdoor environments such as interisland trips and Himalayan treks. Extensive experience in treating trauma.

CHRONOLOGY

1990’s Began basic sailing classes out of Marina del Rey, California
1990’s Part owner of a Cal 28 in California. Carried out coastal cruising along the state to include
sails to Catalina Island
2005- Present Permanent crew in weekly beer can races at Kaneohe Yacht Club, Hawaii aboard a classic 
38 foot all wood New Zealand made sailing sloop dating from 1930’s
2005-14 Crewed numerous times on above vessel on multiple day inter Hawaiian island cruises
2010 Crewed in a nine-day charter in the south Pacific Islands of Tahiti, Bora-Bora, Raiatea,
Tahaa, and Moorea
2011 Participated in the Interline Regatta in the British Virgin Islands in a 47-foot sailing
catamaran
2011 Sailed in Belize in a 47-foot Catamaran
2012 Cruised once more in Belize in a 47-foot Catamaran
2013 Voyaged in the Mediterranean from Alicante, Spain to Corsica, France and onto the Island
of Capri in Italy in a 41-foot sailing cat
2014 Sailed interisland in the Hawaiian Islands from Oahu to Molokai, Lanai, and the Big Island
on a Beneteau 39 over 250 miles of sailing in challenging Hawaiian channels
2016 Took the ISAF Sea Survival Course (SOLAS) at San Francisco Yacht Club
