Extremely active long distance cruiser, racer, and key leader of the Hawaii sailing world. Accomplished sailing instructor.  Has served in ocean going paid positions in the Pacific, Caribbean, and Mediterranean.  Highly qualified US and French certified chef and baker.  Owner of several sailboats.  Intimately familiar with vessel systems and their maintenance. Avid and frequent racer across the Pacific.  Served in numerous positions of leadership in Hawaii sailing organizations.  Focused on working with sailing organizations that emphasize service to youth and citizenship.

40’ sailing sloop. Covered over 3100NM

2007 Raced in the Trans-Pacific Regatta from Los Angeles to Honolulu on “Cirrus”- Won 1st
Place all women crew (Aloha B Division). Covered over 3018NM.
2007 Wahine Skipper of the Year, Honolulu
2010 Raced in the Pacific Cup Regatta from San Francisco to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii on
“Cirrus”. Over 3100 NM.
2012 Sailed throughout Bora Bora, Raiatea, Tahaa, Moorea and Tahiti in the Society
Islands, in South Pacific, served as crew and cook on a Beneteau 39, “Pilialoha”.
2012 Delivery Crew and cook for five crewmembers on three-week non-stop sail from Tahiti
to Hawaii on board “Pilialoha”. Over 2,500 NM.
2013 Served as Crew/Cook: on an 84-ton ketch owned by a foundation serving at risk
youth. Sailed from California to Hawaii. Over 2900 NM.
2013 Continued as Crew and Cook on above vessel on sail from Hawaii to Kiribati Island
(Christmas Island). Over 1180 NM
2014-15 Worked as Crew and Cook out of Malta and Sicily sailing the Mediterranean onboard
“Next Wave” a 42 meter, steel hauled, gaff-rigged ketch.
2016 Served as Crew and cook on a seven-month New England to Caribbean cruise on the 
137 ft. (42m) Tall Ship “Roseway” of the World Ocean School out of Boston, MA. Ports
included Portland, Maine; Key West, Florida; Havana, Cuba; and San Juan, Puerto
Rico. Over 3,000 NM covered.
